  1. Check for BREATHING and PULSE
  2. If not breathing, but has pulse, gently tilt head back, pinch nose and give 2 FULL, SLOW BREATHS
  3. If air does not go in, retilt head and try again.  Breather just enough air to expand chest.
  4. Give 1 BREATH EVERY 5 SECONDS, After about 1 minute, recheck pulse.  Continue if needed
IF VICTIM IS NOT BREATHING AND HAS NO PULSE:

1. Perform CPR: give 2 BREATHS, then 15 COMPRESSIONS on the sternum in about the middle of the chest. Compress 1 1/2" to 2" for adults, 1" to 1 1/2" for children and 1/2" to 1" for infants. Victims under age 8 - do 1 breath and 5 compressions. 

2. Do CPR for about 1 minute - recheck pulse.  After first minute, recheck pulse every few minutes.  Continue CPR until victim revives, help arrives, or you are exhausted.
