Director Tsuneyoshi receives APSEA "Member of the Year" Award

Raynor Tsuneyoshi, Director of Boating and Waterways, received the distinguished Asian Pacific State Employees Association (APSEA) “Member of the Year” Award on April 27, 2006, for his dedication to support the Association’s mission and objectives.

APSEA, which was founded in 1975, is a non-profit and non-political organization that provides services to its membership and contributes to the betterment of the larger Asian/Pacific community.

APSEA’s mission is to ensure equal opportunity and to advance the careers of Asian/Pacific state employees. Each year, APSEA provides support to its members and the local community by testifying before legislative committees and State Personnel Board hearings on issues relating to APSEA members, sponsoring scholarships for high school graduates pursuing a college education, supporting training conferences and local community organizations and sponsoring the Sacramento Pacific Rim Street Festival.
