Commissioner Edward Clement Reno III

Edward C. Reno III, of Orange County, California is the national director of state government affairs for Allergan, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical, bio-technology and medical device company based in Irvine.  In this capacity, he is responsible for the US state government affairs program at Allergan, Inc., as well as sales to state government agencies.  Recognized as a thought leader in the corporate government affairs profession, Mr. Reno is a sought after speaker on the practice of government affairs, public affairs, public policy and politics.  Mr. Reno previously served on staff as a senior counselor to California Governors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Pete Wilson. Additionally, Mr. Reno currently serves on the Board of Directors of Claros, Inc., a recognized leader in communication technology integration.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Reno is active in his community.  He was appointed as a Commissioner to the California Boating and Waterways Commission by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2005 and was confirmed by the California Senate to the four year term.  He is a currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Marathon that is recognized for its philanthropic giving and a member of the Board of Directors of the Make A Wish Foundation of Orange County.
