Commissioner John R. Bañuelos
Bañuelos retired from state service in 2004 after serving 30 years in public service. The majority of these years were spent at the California Conservation Corps (CCC). He was one of CCC's founding members and served as deputy director of field operations. Other appointments include director to the Department of Boating and Waterways from 1992 to 1996; executive officer of the Youth Offender Parole Board; member of the U.S. Coast Guard Boating Safety Council; and Private Security Disciplinary Review Board, 1980/1988. Boating and Waterways Commissioner Bañuelos lives in Elk Grove with his wife Christine. They have two adult children. |
